Regular servicing jobs are charged per service pricelist. If your model is not listed there, please contact me and I'll send pricelist for your model as soon as possible. Pricelist is continuously updated with new makes and models.

 

Mechanical and electrical repairs (except rewiring jobs or wiring repairs) are charged at €40/hour. Written estimates/quotations for repair jobs are provided in advance on customer's request (except non-standard repairs)

 

Installation of accessories (except tow bars and heavy equipment), wiring repairs and rewiring jobs are charged at €28/hour. As these jobs differs a lot depending on make and model of vehicle and type of accessory being fitted or kind of repair only approximate estimates could be given. Installation of tow bars and heavy equipment is charged at €40/hour.

 

Diagnostic job is an operation or sequence of operations required for establishing a root cause of a complicated problem. My policy is to charge customers for diagnostics only in case if significant amount of time, skills and labour or use of expensive specialized equipment is required to find cause of a problem.

 

Any diagnostic job is subject of minimum charge of €25. Hourly rate for diagnostic jobs is €30/hour. Maximum charge for diagnostics is €150 which is applicable when 5 hours or more where spent in order to establish a cause of a problem. This charge covers all the required checks, removing and refitting components, information access charges etc.. If problem was not diagnosed within 5 hours further diagnostics is continued free of extra charge as long as required.

 

In unlikely case where problem could not be established despite all the efforts and time spent only minimum diagnostic charge is applied and printout of diagnostics results will be supplied to a customer.

 

Separate diagnostics charge is applied to every problem if multiple problems exists on the same vehicle unless all or some of those problems caused by the same reason.

 

Mobile rate of €60/hour is applicable to any jobs performed on-site at customer's location where no weatherproof premices provided. This rate could be reduced up to €40/hour if customer provides weatherproof premices for performing required jobs.
In addition to that charge is applied depending on distance from Castledermot. Co. Kildare at the rate of €1/km of distance.

Any mobile operation or call-out is subject of minimum charge of €20.

All repair, servicing and installation jobs performed by me as well as parts or accessories supplied by me are provided with at least one year full warranty. This is not applicable to temporary repairs in which case customer will be clearly informed about temporary nature of repair prior to doing it.
In case of diagnostic job I accept full responsibility for the results of my diagnostics when diagnostics charge required for establishing a problem was paid in full and consequent repairs were performed by me using parts supplied by me or by suppliers recommended by me. In unlikely case where problem was misdiagnosed I will refund all the costs of parts, labour and other surcharges paid by customer including diagnostics charges, if this happened to be unnessesary for fixing a problem.

All the jobs performed by me are stored on my computer database. Nevertheless customer should keep received invoice for the job as proof of warranty.
